Cancellation & Refund Policy

We aim to provide complete satisfaction with every order placed at Ali’s Cakes & Bakes. Since all our cakes are freshly baked as per specifications, our cancellation and refund guidelines are strict to ensure smooth functioning and quality service.

1. Order Cancellation Policy

Orders once confirmed cannot be cancelled in the following cases:

• The cake preparation has already started.
• Custom/Photo cakes are in progress or completed.
• Same-day orders, urgent orders, or short-notice orders cannot be cancelled.
• Orders placed during festivals, occasions, or peak hours are non-cancellable.

2. Conditions for Refund

Refunds are applicable only in select situations such as:

• Wrong product delivered (different flavour / size).
• Product found damaged at the time of delivery (valid proof required).
• Delivery was missed by the shop and no rescheduling option was offered.
• Payment deducted but order not placed due to system error.

3. Refund Rejection Cases

• Complaints must be raised within 1 hour of product delivery.
• Refunds are not applicable for taste preferences or personal dislike.
• Refunds will not be issued due to delayed delivery caused by: weather, traffic, location inaccuracy or unforeseen events.
• Refunds are not applicable if wrong address or phone number was mentioned by the customer.

4. Replacement Policy

In certain genuine complaint cases, instead of refund, replacement of product may be provided based on availability. Decision lies purely with the management after reviewing the situation.

5. Refund Processing Time

Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 7 to 10 working days. Refund amount will be credited to the original payment method.
